The RESUME TECH Institute, aligned with its goals and vision, will host the inaugural session of a series of specialized meetings on sustainability and resilience in architecture and urban development, in celebration of Research and Technology Week. This specialized meeting, titled “Resilience and Sustainability in Urban Architecture: Challenges and Solutions”, serves as an introduction to examining topics related to sustainability and resilience in urban areas. The discussion will cover the following key points:

1. Introduction to the Concept of Sustainability and Resilience
   Defining and elucidating the fundamental concepts and their importance in urban areas.
2. Requirements and Necessities for Achieving Sustainability and Resilience in Iran
   Examining the key factors and essential requirements for realizing sustainability and resilience.
3. Scientific and Practical Activities Conducted in Iran
   Reviewing research and executed projects along with the results achieved.
4. Existing Challenges and Opportunities in Iran
   Analyzing the challenges and exploring the opportunities ahead for improving sustainability
   and resilience.
5. Approaches of Other Societies in Facing Challenges and Issues
   Reviewing the experiences and lessons learned from other countries and communities
6. Current Trends and Innovations Globally
   Analyzing global trends and innovations in sustainability and resilience.
7. Future Prospects and Pathways for Resilient and Sustainable Buildings and Cities in Iran
   Outlining the future and determining the necessary strategies to achieve sustainability and
   resilience goals.

This meeting aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences among experts, researchers, and policymakers to develop innovative and practical solutions for enhancing resilience and sustainability in urban areas. Additionally, identifying and highlighting essential research topics for achieving a sustainable and resilient city in Iran, as well as raising public awareness in this field, are key objectives of this meeting.
