Lead Instructor: Farzad Akhavan — Iranian architect and visual artist, graduate of the Städelschule in Frankfurt, with professional experience at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and teaching appointments at leading universities in Europe and the United States.

Educational Objectives
• Enhancing the ability to analyze and represent architectural spaces
• Familiarity with fundamental concepts of architecture in Western and Iranian traditions
• Practicing contemporary methods of architectural drawing and spatial reading through software and manual design
• Applying principles of sustainability in design

Course Structure
• 7 sessions, every three hours in length (combining theoretical, software-based, and practical components)
• 2 specialized workshops per week
• Course start date: February 2026 (Bahman 1404)
